Use the subject line: Jusoor Account Deletion Request.
In the message, include the email address registered on your Jusoor account and a clear
statement that you want the account and all associated personal data deleted.
We will verify that you own the account, process the request, and confirm completion by email.
Why we verify your identity: to make sure nobody can delete an account that does
not belong to them. Verification may require confirming the email address on the account or the account UID.
How long deletion takes
Via Method 1 (in-app): deletion starts immediately and completes within 30 days.
Via Method 2 (email): we aim to acknowledge your request within 3 business days
and complete the deletion within 30 days of receiving it.
Some data is removed from active systems immediately; backups and logs roll off on a normal retention cycle
(see below).
What gets deleted
When your Jusoor account is deleted, the following is permanently removed and is no longer accessible in the app:
Your account record and authentication identity (email, phone number, password credentials).
Your profile: display name, real name, nickname, profile photo, date of birth, and profile details.
Your saved preferences, language settings, notification settings, and reward/points balances.
Your user-generated content, including forum posts, congratulations posts, reviews, marketplace listings,
job postings, event listings, business/clinic listings, news articles, and clinic reviews.
Your friend requests, sent messages to businesses, and connections.
Your block list, report history, and moderation actions you initiated.
Your push-notification device registration(s) for the Jusoor app.
What may be retained, and why
We aim to delete your data completely. A small amount of information may be retained only where a legal, security, or
fraud-prevention requirement applies:
Records required by law. Where applicable law requires us to retain certain records, we retain
only the minimum required and only for the legally required period (for example, records related to a proven
legal claim, tax/accounting obligations, or a formal law-enforcement request).
Safety and abuse prevention. Limited records may be preserved when necessary to protect the
safety of users, investigate a report of abuse or harassment, or enforce our
Child Safety Standards and Community Guidelines.
Security and fraud prevention. Limited technical records (such as security or abuse-prevention
logs) may be retained to keep Jusoor and its users safe and to investigate abuse.
Any retained information is kept in a restricted form, used only for the purpose described
above, is no longer used to provide Jusoor's features to you, and is deleted when the applicable retention
requirement ends. Anonymized, aggregated statistics that cannot be linked back to you may be retained.
