This Privacy Policy explains how the Jusoor app ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information. Jusoor is a community app for the Arab community in Kansas City, Missouri, USA, and is published on Google Play by KC Arab Community. By using the Jusoor app you agree to the practices described in this policy. This policy complies with applicable laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for EU residents, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA, 15 U.S.C. § 6501), and the Electronic Communications Privacy Act (ECPA).

Account Information: name, email address, phone number, and profile photo you provide when creating an account.
Content You Post: forum posts, congratulations messages, reviews, marketplace listings, and other community content.
Usage Data: anonymous usage statistics used to improve the app.

To provide, maintain, and improve Jusoor's features and services.
To connect you with community members, businesses, and events.
To moderate content and enforce our Community Guidelines.
To communicate with you about app updates and your requests.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information you post publicly in the community sections may be visible to other app users. We may share information with service providers (such as Google Firebase) solely to operate the app, or when required by law.

5. Data Retention and Account Deletion

Your account and content remain active until you choose to delete them. You may delete your account at any time:

In the app: Settings > Privacy > Delete Account, then confirm with your password.
By email: request deletion at ghdatabyah@gmail.com using the email address on your account. See the account deletion page for details.

Upon account deletion, your profile and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days. Content associated with your account (posts, listings, messages) is removed as described on the deletion page.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at ghdatabyah@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights

You may access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request deletion (CCPA). The Jusoor app uses Google Firebase (Firestore, Authentication) and Google AdMob for advertising. These services have their own privacy policies. Links and embedded content from third parties are governed by their respective policies.
